Brandenburg, KY - Coach Dina Hackert announced Wednesday, March 14, that she is retiring as the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Meade County High School.
In nine seasons as head coach at MCHS, Hackert amassed 174 wins, three 11th District Championships, and one 3rd Region Championship in 2022. The 2022 state tournament appearance marked just the fourth trip to the state tournament in school history. Hackert was a player on the 1985 and 1986 State Tournament teams. In total, Coach Hackert has spent 32 years in the coaching profession.
