We are excited to announce that Commencement Exercises for the Class of 2025 have officially been scheduled for Friday, May 23rd at 8:00 PM on Hamilton Field! We cannot wait to celebrate the accomplishments of this class during our traditional Graduation Ceremony!

The MCHS National Honor Society is competing with the BCHS National Honor Society to see who can raise the most canned goods to donate to local food banks. Let's put the passion of the rivalry to good use! Help MCHS NHS beat Breck by bringing canned goods with you to each MCHS home basketball game now through January 31. A collection bin will be located in the Main Lobby for all donations.


Big news, Meade County High School students and families! Our Spanish Program is planning a trip to Spain in the Summer of 2026! Any students who have completed a Spanish 1-3 course, are currently enrolled in Spanish, or plan on taking Spanish in the future are eligible to attend. This is also open to current and future Spanish Club members. Due to the dates of this trip, current Seniors will be unable to attend.

Mrs. Kristin Hibbard has been named the 2024 Kentucky Special Education Teacher of the Year! Mrs. Hibbard was announced as the winner at today's Kentucky Council for Exceptional Children Conference in Louisville.

Congratulations to the MCHS Symphonic Band for being selected to the 2025 Phi Beta Mu Concert Band Festival! The band was one of only 5 high school bands from across the state to be selected from the audition process. They will perform on Saturday, March 15th 2025 in Gheens Auditorium at Male High School in Louisville at
2:00 PM.
